2015 Fantasy Faire

Hi all! Sorry I am a little late with this blog. I have been busy in RL and my friend brought my attention to this fabulous fantasy faire! Hurry it's only open until May 3rd!

Visit the 2015 Fantasy Faire April 23 - May 3. Step through a magical doorway, into the biggest celebration of fantasy art,  artists and enthusiasts in the virtual world. A Relay for Life of Second Life event benefitting the American Cancer Society.

This is a beautifully done faire. It is gorgeous to walk through. They have so many vendors as well. I have never seen so many well done fantasy clothing!
I chose to wear **LUAS** Medieval gown. It includes mesh dress in 5 sizes, alpha, mesh hoodie in 3 sizes, face veil, tiara, belt, shirt, appliers for Lolas Tango, and 2 collars, one short and one long. Includes Omega system appliers for shirt too.

*Everwinter* Post Apocalyptic Theme Park

Today's blog is about a place called *Everwinter*  Post Apocalyptic Theme Park. Everwinter is inspired by the abandoned amusement park in the real world city of Pripyat. Here is what the information notecard says about Everwinter:

The Pripyat amusement park in Pripyat, Ukraine is an abandoned amusement park. It was to be opened on May 1, 1986 in time for the May Day celebrations (decorations for this event are still in place in Pripyat today) but the plans were interrupted when on April 26 the Chernobyl disaster occurred a few kilometers away. The park was opened for a couple of hours on April 27 to keep the city people entertained before the announcement to evacuate the city was made. Today, the park, and in particular the Ferris wheel are a symbol of the Chernobyl disaster. The amusement park itself is located behind the Palace of Culture in the center of the city.

The audio message you can hear in Russian as you enter Everwinter is the actual recording of the evacuation message played to the city of Pripyat following the nuclear disaster at Chernobyl

The evacuation of Pripyat took place the day after the disaster on the afternoon of April 27, 1986, The evacuation of Pripyat's 43,000 residents took 3.5 hours, using 1,100 buses from Kiev.
The inhabitants were allowed to take only necessary items with them, as they were to return in three days.
This information was released to avoid panic and to stop people taking too much luggage with them.
Later, the authorities decided that the city must remain empty forever.

Based on records now available, some 985,000 people died, mainly of cancer, as a result of the Chernobyl accident. That is between when the accident occurred in 1986 and the present day. More deaths, it projects, will follow.

     I love this outfit. It comes with dogtags, a bandana around the neck, a belt, the helmet with goggles, and boots with socks that are all resizable with a menu. It also comes with mesh gloves that I opted not to wear. It comes with it's own shape as well, but I kept my own just tweaking a few settings to get the perfect fit.

Easter Town 2015

Today I visited Easter Town 2015! There are so many fun activities to do. Everything from a peep race to floating on a lazy river in an egg! You must check out the place, but hurry Easter is this Sunday, so it won't last long!

Matoluta Sanctuary

Today I felt like going country and I found the perfect place to do so! Matoluta Sanctuary is a nice farming/ranch/forest type SIM that is pretty neat to explore. They have barns with farm animals, but also woods with wildlife like bears and deer. There is also a bicycle path and you can click on a sign to get a bike to ride. They have a couple of campsites where you can have a picnic, or just cuddle under the stars. I really enjoyed myself there. You can find out more info about the SIM here: http://goo.gl/5M15Aw

The *Stars*Fashion* Country flowers outfit comes in the standard 5 sizes with Alphas and the shirt under the vest is worn on either the shirt layer or undershirt layer. The boots come with a resizer HUD. I saw this outfit and just had to get it, then my search was on for the perfect place to wear it!

*ARGRACE*'s Cowboy hat and hair  comes with a HUD. You can change the hat to 5 different colors and change the colors on the band going around the hat. You also have the option of making the hat strings disappear.  It is rigged mesh. This completed my outfit perfectly and I love this hairdo!

Harmony Garden

In this post I'll be taking you to Harmony Garden.  This quaint quiet place is lovely to have a stroll though. There are light houses, animals, flowers, fountains, and even a ship! There are lots of places to take a photo opp or just sit and relax. It also has a nice gallery of photos to browse though.

D!va Hair: I got this hair from their Gacha machine. I got the color of blonde I wanted on the first try! There are a good variety of colors, and also a rare hair style included in the gacha that has longer pig tails instead of the buns. The hair comes with a resize script, and a script to make the stars glow, or change colors, or to disappear completely if you'd rather not have them in your hair. 

Maxi Skirt: This skirt comes in 5 sizes, and I love the fit of it. The texture is amazing. They also have other skirts that are very well textured, but I decided on the prairie skirt for this photo shoot.

Off the shoulder shirt: This shirt comes in 5 sizes. It fits very well and I love the simplicity of it. It fit my outfit very well and I'm glad I found it for only 35L! They also have other colors like pink, blue, yellow, and brown available to buy separately.

Sandals: I adore these sandals. They come with the feet, (which I love because we all can't be rich enough to buy slink feet!) which have a HUD to match skin tone and to choose a color for your nails. These are so well done and worth way more than the asking price of 29L. You have to go get these, they are such a great deal!

Jewelry: These are a very pretty set and include a script to change the chain type to silver, gold, or pink. This little set is such a bargain at only 10L. It's a must have!

Timeless Memories

The place I am featuring in this blog is called Timeless Memories. It is a breath taking beautiful place. Wonderful for photography, or if you just want a quiet serine place to hang out.

Punksters Destiny's White overlay lace dress is wonderfully made. It is cute and flirty, and I thought the white would be perfect for this place. They also sell a red and black version for a more edgier flavor. It comes with a loop necklace with matching earrings and high heeled booties.

MINA's Lena hair is wonderful for photography. It gives your pictures a more realistic touch with the wind blowing through your hair. I loved that it made these picture seem more flowy. It comes in many colors, but I got the light blonde pack, which includes 4 different versions of light blonde via a HUD.

Spring into Paris!

Spring is in the air, so what better way to spend it than exploring lovely Paris, France? This Sim is set in the 1900-2000. It's a great place to take some cool pictures.

While visiting the Eiffel Tower you can browse around looking at old pictures and paintings of Paris.

You can also drive around classic cars, which is great fun!

There is a lot to see, so come explore!

     This is a very well made girl's mohawk. It is rigged mesh and comes with the shaved head base with flowers shaved into it! It is 180L and comes in 5 shades of your selected color.

Eye Makeup: Vivid Avs - Tintable HQ Specialty Rainbow Eyeshadow

     I love this eye shadow. It really makes my eyes pop and is so colorful without looking like a clown! This eye shadow is mod and you can tint it different colors for lots of different looks! It is 40L

Earrings: *!*The Krazy Kat's Art*!* - Krazy Kitty's Biohazard Punk Earrings

     These are a set of hoop earrings for both ears with a biohazard stud for the main right lobe. These are so great and are only 1L!

Nose and Lip piercing: Phoebe ~Piercings & more -nose piercing for 1L and lip piercing also for 1L

Jacket and skirt: HauTe Teens - Dark Denim Jacket &  T and Mini -  Black Denim both for 75L each. I adore this outfit. It is perfect for teens, and makes me feel so stylish and cool!

Shoes: Punksters Destiny - part of the punk fit pink outfit available for 88L. These shoes are super cute and fit great!

New York City Cuteness

Hi all! Welcome to my first ever blog! Let me introduce myself. My name is Rheynah and I am a teenager in Second Life. I love exploring and finding really cool places in Second Life. I also love fashion! The point of this blog is to let others know the really cool places I find, and all the cool fashion I come across. Let's get started!

The Truth Hair: Wren comes with 2 feathers to put in your hair. The hair comes with a color change HUD, I set mine to have pink dipped tips, and the feathers also have a color change HUD. This hair is only 250L!
